The main attractions are:

Strasbourg Cathedral (Cathedrale de Notre Dame) - the main feature of the cathedral is the fact that its construction was attended by France and Germany. Each country has added to it something special and unique. The Cathedral was built over 300 years and at the end of construction it was the tallest building in Europe.

Paris and its 10 survey sites

Paris and its 10 survey sites

Everyone who arrives in Paris wants to see his bird's-eye view to see all its beauty. Today I will discuss the ten places, with a magnificent view of the eternal city. In some well-known places, I'll just about such places, which usually do not tell, so we go.

1) The Eiffel Tower - to go upstairs, you need to buy a ticket. The tower consists of three floors, the tickets are sold on the second and third floor. On the second floor can be accessed using the lift and walk up the steps. On the third floor only to rise on the elevator with a change on the second floor. When buying tickets, pay attention to what turns you stand, so you do not waste time on another queue. There are options for recovery in the second floor of the elevator or on foot, and the upgrade option on the third floor.
Tip: sometimes in the evening stopped selling tickets on the third floor. However, rising on the second floor, you can buy tickets on the rise from the second floor to the third.
My friends are not able to enjoy Paris by night twice, until I told them about this opportunity.
Getting there: M6 Trocadero; RER C Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel;
Web site

2) Tour Montparnasse - to go upstairs, you need to buy a ticket. Tour Montparnasse can admire the Eiffel Tower from a great height. It is the tallest building in the whole of France, therefore, is undoubtedly one of the best viewing platforms in Paris.
How to reach: M4, 6, 12, 13 Montparnasse Bienvenue
3) Arc de Triomphe - to go upstairs, you need to buy a ticket. Recovery feature to the arch is what you need to walk. Elevator is, but it is used only in special cases. So get ready to rise in advance. Inside the arches on the way to the viewing platform is also a museum where you can take a break when climbing stairs, buy souvenirs or just look at the exhibits.
Getting there: M1, 2, 6, RER A Charle de Gaulle Etoile
4) The Pantheon - to enter the building to buy a ticket. Many tourists visit the Pantheon, but few of them know that a couple of times a day everyone who bought a ticket, pass on the upper floors of the pantheon. On top of the pantheon called 360 degree panorama of Paris. Therefore, before going on an excursion indicate when access will be opened up.
Getting there: RER B Luxembourg

Tip: To avoid paying an entrance fee, you should visit cent in one of the holidays, when the entrance to the museums is free.
Getting there: M1, 11 Hotel de Ville
6) Notre Dame de Paris - to go upstairs, you need to buy a ticket. Rise up is on the left side of the entrance. I was not lucky enough to go upstairs, once I arrived after closing, and the second restoration took place, and the rise to the top was closed. Therefore, details, or give advice, when once again I will go to France.
How to reach: M4 Cite
7) The Basilica of Sacre Coeur. The observation deck located in front of the basilica. Due to the fact that the basilica is located on a high hill, called a great review. You can sit quietly on the stairs and admire the surrounding scenery.
Tip: Be very careful when going to the basilica. For you will approach people and offer to play, do not stop and move on. In my acquaintance in this place stole a purse.

Travel in Paris with RER

Travel in Paris with RER

Today, I decided to talk about high-speed metro in Paris. In Paris, there are two types of metro. The first type is the usual subway called Metropolitain, a network which covers the city and some suburbs. The second type is called the metro RER (regional express network station). RER covers the entire Paris region (Ile-de-France). About him today, I want to tell me more.

Let's start with the fact that Paris and its region is divided into zones. Is a kind of ring around Paris. In total there are 7 zones, Paris itself includes the first and second zones, the remaining zones surround it. The division into zones made to order to charge travel to the region. Price depends on travel from far and where you plan to go. The more zones you will cross the more expensive it will cost you to travel.

Buy a single ticket is not profitable and very expensive. If you come for a week or longer then it is most advantageous to buy a ticket. Travel tickets can be bought for a week or month and year. The longer the travel the greater the savings. Travel is divided into zones as their actions. Detailed prices can be found on the site RATP section Titres et tarifs.
Important To take advantage of travel you need to bring a photograph. Otherwise, the travel will be considered invalid and you may be fined. Control RER lines is continuing.

The network consists of five RER lines. Each line has its own distinctive color. The lines are called A, B, C, D and E. Each line has a few lines, all lines are numbered, so you can see such names C8, B4. Where the letter is addressed to the line and the figure is the direction where you will. To make it even more interesting to ride on the RER train, each has its own name it is formed from a few letters, usually from four. I tend to not pay attention to them, but they also mean something, most likely a station where the train stops, but I may be wrong.

To the first time to choose the right train and go where you want to go there, it is worth every effort. First you can go to the site of RATP and there to see train timetable. This will help you but you must be careful, sometimes for technical reasons, the schedule can be shifted. Therefore, the second always look at the monitors on which the written schedule of trains going from the place where you stand. Choosing the right path from which you uedite, you will help pointers, many of them important to watch carefully.

When you have somewhere to eat important to know the direction of the train (its terminus), plus on the big screens to watch so that your station was on fire in front of a light which shows that the train would stop at your station. Otherwise, guessing the direction you were surprised traveled without stopping your station:)

Useful information: on the line are located in airports, on the tench is a European Disneyland, on the line with you will be able to get to Versailles.

If you travel then before you open all the directions, do not afraid to make mistakes, if you somehow are not sure where to go or the train gets you to smile and ask for help. French wonderful and open people, they will explain where to go and show what to do. The main thing is not shy and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Bon voyage.
